The Daniel Center for Math and Science will open its doors in the summer/fall of 2010. The purpose of the Daniel Center is to provide improved math, science, and technology education opportunities that narrow the education disparity for at-risk and economically disadvantaged students. Furthermore, to prepare and motivate young people to pursue a post-high school education through proven tutoring methods within the framework of safe, effective and fun childcare programs.

If you have never been to Women's Empowerment Expo in Raleigh you need to go this year. When I worked at Radio One I was blown away by the intensity of this event! You just have to experience it for yourself. Coming March 20th, 2010.
Women's Empowerment is Radio One Raleigh's largest and most anticipated event. Year after year, thousands of African American women (and men) come to Women's Empowerment for an entire day of education, entertainment and empowerment.
