Ah! The Compulsion For Food...
By Beiker Dasilva
Suddenly, without hunger, one feels an uncontrollable urge and eat a large meal in a short period of time. It makes you very quickly, almost without chewing, mostly in secret and is making sense of lack of control over eating and how much. Usually does until you feel engorged, tired or the sudden presence of another person. Then you feel guilty, remorseful, anxious and self-confidence.
This episode is called, badly translated, "cravings." If it occurs twice a week at least six months and, represents the "Binge Eating Disorder" or "binge eating", popularly, Binge Eating.
Occurs 25 to 56% of dieters to lose weight. Although the "causes" are little known, are the triggering anxiety and deprivation of food.
The researchers say there may be several explanations for this. They argued that these differences may be due to greater woman's preoccupation with their weight and appearance. The social pressure to lose weight may lead these people to restrict their diet to lose weight. As has been noted that this phenomenon was related to phenomena of "impulsive hunger", this may be an explanation, they say.
Another explanation could be that women have a different relationship between mood and desire to eat. However these relationships are very complex and difficult to understand, warn experts. In this study, the desire to eat was related to a "desire" and not a "necessity" which shows the strong influence of psychological factors in eating habits.
The amount of food eaten varies from person to person. However there is the presence of a common feeling: the lack of control! And the compulsion to perceived lack of control is worse than the absence. A brigadier general, ingested in these conditions leads to the chocolate bar and a very great suffering. Many diets end here ... The person may feel shame or inhibition to tell the doctor, who, in the absence of weight loss, could "squeeze" more diet and the effects are precisely worsen, causing the person to other eating attacks. Very restricted diets lead to increased incidence.
Compulsive people are more vulnerable to depression, anxiety and stress. Eat to "remedy" the effects of these negative feelings. Have difficulty "reading" and identify your emotions, confusing them with hunger. They are usually unassertive, has relationship problems and emotional problem-solving.
Treatment involves psychotherapy and eating habits. Psychotherapy should identify and address factors other off hunger, leading people to eat. The goal should be to take it to replace the food in most appropriate and adaptive to their negative emotions. Bring food to its actual function. Identify whether the overeating and obesity or overweight has some function, usually unconscious person's life.
The compulsive should worry about the PROCESS. The weight loss will come as a result of control "eating attacks" or cravings. After struggling with compulsive eating disorder for about 10 years I realize that I need professional help to overcome this type of dysfunction.
I have use a Natural supplement now for about 6 months with great results, it works by suppressing my appetite by sending a signal to my brain, telling me that "I'M FULL". Also it reduces the conversion of starch into sugar that lower my calorie absorption and aids the digestive system.
A clean digestive system helps me feel great and energize and most important I no longer feel cravings for any particular food, sugar or salt.
