The Lamplighter Awards, presented by The Light 103.9 were designed to acknowledge and honor individuals and organizations that are lighting the path for others through their volunteerism and community service.

The honorees are selected, by a panel that includes The Light staff and community leaders, from nominations submitted by citizens throughout The Light 103.9 listening area.

The Lamplighter Awards 2011, is a semi-formal event and will be held on Saturday, November 5, in the beautiful Meymandi Concert Hall, in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. The evening, hosted by the Light’s on-air personalities, will include performances by local and national recording artists.

All nominations must be postmarked by August 1, 2011.
